There are details of what you are looking at in other photos in the album in my gallery, but this is what you see when you look in from the hall. Near the window is my workbench, then I have a Raskog cart, a shelving unit, two desks, another shelving unit and a lot of open space, then - on the side wall - a bookcase housing a televsion, DVD player, books, DVDs, and a Sterilite unit with sewing supplies. I painted the tryptych, there is a calendar of "offbeat holidays" and a clock on the wall, also.
The empty space is intentional. I needed a place to use an exercise ball, do Zumba, and have room to set up temporary work surfaces, if needed.

I've been wanting one of those work benches but I don't want to give up/replace anything I already have in my room. I have a desk with a hutch which I think I might put on those bed frame risers to make it (near) bench height. Hmmmmm, you've got me thinking!
Very nice! My "craft room" looks like it was hit by a tornado.
I have to ask where you got that nice little shelf unit that is resting on the desktop? I have been searching for something like that. Everything I find has very deep shelves. That looks perfect. Are the shelves adjustable and did you add any? I'm asking because 2 of them appear much lighter than the cabinet itself.
