Thank you, Chris for the restful and lovely study in blues for this weeks Color Challenge. I always enjoy seeing Pantones' Color of the Year. And really Classic Blue seems to always be in fashion.
I decided I would do an anniversary card with a couple from Tim Holtz People. Polly (peeps321) recently gifted me with a nice supply of ephemera, and I loved this couple. I did color her flowers blue as well as her suitors' lapel handkerchief. The background was stamped with CHF 'Astronomy' scrap block. It is a star map, quite detailed. The date of their wedding is '87. I added a kite which says 'Time Flies'. The center has a clock which had Glossy Accents added to mimic glass. I cut off the edge of the wired ribbon and adhered part of the silver strip as kite strings. And I suppose the icing on the cake is that wild ribbon with the silver lashes. I love how it brings a celebratory mood to the card.
Time, indeed flies. I am sure you would agree. I don't want to be caught missing a moment.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Astonishing!!!!!!!!! Your thoughtfulness is astonishing!!!!!!! How you place things, your little touches....you say you're a literal thinker...I disagree. You for sure are a thinker, but where your mind goes is breathtaking. I love this, Susan, perfect anniversary or wedding card. Something borrowed, something blue. Favd.
