Iâve embraced shaker cardsâto an extent. They donât terrify me quite like they used to. Iâve had a valentine stamp set on my list to use for awhile now, so I decided to finally use it and chose the little conversation hearts for inside my shaker. SC190 proved to be a good sketch for a shaker card, but I took some liberties with it. Searched my Evernote for a fun valentine image and decided to go with this sweet monster. When I looked on pinterest for monster valentine ideas, I found this sentiment which inspired me to give him googly eyes. You know how much I love googly eyes, but I never think to use them. But I couldnât decide if I wanted to use the bigger or smaller ones. So I used one of each for a crazy look. The DP behind him checks off use DP for me this week but also the piece on the left is part of an old greeting card so âuse recycled cardâ is also checked off.

The one of each size of eye looks great. And the little lovehearts (what they were branded as here) are great for a shaker element - you don't get the same amount of static when you use paper elements as you do with sequins and flower soft and such like.
