I used a colour-blocked background and an image that were already on my desk, as today is housework day. I cut the penguins and added black stitching, then added a black mat layer and added white stitching. I always like the more realistic look of pierced dots but rarely go to the bother. Added some snowflakes and a sentiment and that was it.

My hand got really tired piercing all those holes! But it's true that it was worth it for the cool look. I love your combo of both black and white stitching. Fun penguins and great color block paper background!

Brilliant! Don't think I would have thought to do the faux stitching twice. Goes so well with that cute penguin image. Your quilty BG fits the sewing theme, too, clever girl.

I really love the rustic stitched detail, with a double row even, and it really adds to the whole theme and it's wonderful. Your coloring of these penguins is just right, for it adds depth to the image both the winter scarves and on the penguins themselves. This is great!!!

Fabulous faux stitching, Sabrina. I love your background paper choices to showcase those fun penguins! Today is housework day for me too, and friends coming over tomorrow so I hope I get a chance to play. But really should concentrate on people, lol.....Oh yes, and love the placement of those snowflakes on your sweet card.
