When I saw the inspiration I immediately thought oh that would be great to use strips of papers. I kept all the strips of papers from making Christmas cards and glued them to the bases of several white CS pieces for some quick BGs. Colored the gnomes to match the colors of the papers I used and layered. Finished off with some snowflakes and the NOEL die cut that was sitting on my table waiting to get used up.
Next Christmas is quick to come for needing my Christmas cards so I am working ahead now to avoid any last minute needing cards.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards. Thank you for looking!

What a great idea to use up strips like that ribbon! Your card is so cute!

I can't believe you are ALREADY starting your stash of cards for next Christmas!!!!! This though, is a super way to use those scraps before they get damaged or lost in the "to be used" box. That gnome is adorable and I love the gilded sentiment.

Cute card, Lisa. Love how you coordinated the gnome's hat with the pp. You are my stash hero!!!! I put my Christmas supplies away. With all my last minute cards, I should follow your lead and get busy.
