I used this as my inspiration from Birch & Lane. I sponged DOX inks onto glossy cardstock then stamped my island palm trees in black and embossed with clear powder. Trimmed and framed in black. I sponged a bit more frayed burlap on the bottom of my card base for sand and stamped in some swirls & starfish from an OLD SU set. Planted my chair in the sand and stamped the sentiment in wilted violet to pick up the hint of that color from my tropical scene.
This is where I'd like to be right now instead of home sniffling with the start of a winter cold!

Goodness...your scene is paradise. I can almost feel the warm air and hear the ocean lap on the edge. And I confess envy at your wonderful sponging, Linda. This is a wow card.

Wow, you have certainly captured paradise on this beautiful card. That chair is so inviting and the beautiful scene just draws me in.

Ooh, I want to be there, also. This is such a beautiful scene and sponged perfectly. I think my Woody should be parked there somewhere. I hope your cold won't be full blown for Christmas. What a bummer! Take care.
