Playing in the technique challenge this morning to reduce a bit of stress. The challenge is Judy's last as a hostess. She called for three texture adding techniques. I did dry embossing, heat embossing on my frantage, and adding gold microbeads with gel medium.
Stenciled and ink/spray/smash backgrounds and the flower was layered three times with different techniques too (sponging on one, double stamping on one, and stenciling on the other). This idea came to me after seeing this MacKenzie-Childs flower:

Beautiful poinsettia and love the center. You have wonderful texture on your card. Super stenciled panel.

That poinsettia just on it's own is full of texture, it's fabulous. I think microbeads make the perfect centre for them, too. What gorgeous ribbon. This has a super vintage look.

A virtual feast for the eyes, Nancy! I love the mix of textures...plaid is always welcome, especially on the diagonal. The McK-C poinsettia pick is fun. I’ll be looking for your take on that! Back to the hugs...a super card for celebrating Judy’s swan song!

So cool, Nancy! Love the bits of gold embossing and what a gorgeous bow to go with your pretty poinsettia! Love the gel microbeads! I think I need to put those on my shopping list, lol.

WOW! Nancy...so much beautiful texture...so many lovely techniques applied to make such an exquisite card. Love, love your poinsettia results and the coordination between your lovely ribbon and the microbead stamina. Oodles of loveliness here for sure!
