Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she wants to make sure we all stay warm with the dessert option of showing a warm beverage. The colors this week are Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, and So Saffron.
I used just about the only beverage image I have, this cute coffee cup die, with insulating collar and pop-on top. I added a snowflake decoration to the collar, since it's starting to get a little nippy around here.
The rose layer is embossed with a diagonal heart folder, and I added a geometric border for interest.
This card will go to my friend, Holly, who is continuing her battle with ALS. I hope it will, indeed, perk up her day!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

You've mixed these textures with the border, background and cup so masterfully, Barbara! And, the snowflake is a perfect little extra touch. Holly with love it!

this is just too cute- what a perfect way to send a little cheer to a good friend- I have to say you and the other DT members made this dessert option look so easy- I couldn't get it together (LOL)

You used these colors beautifully Barbara! The background embossing and die cut edge look fabulous behind your elegant coffee cup, and the snowflake on the insulating collar conveys the coziness within. This is just perfection!
