For Ky's Let's Get Serious MIXed media challenge. Not sure what I'll do with this, whether I'll give it to him or hang it up here. But I was thinking of our elder, who has been in hospital with an infection and other complications. Nothing is easy after an organ transplant!
Gessoed the hymn page last night, after finding one with enough music to fit the large image. This morning, working on the floor as DH was at my desk, I stamped and embossed the image.
Watercolour for the crook, Aleene's Glitter Snow on the sheep. I used two shades of green gelato and stencilled Phill Martin's Scattered Diamonds - I didn't have many stencils large enough to work with the size of the image. Using a TCW stencil and gold paint I added a few stars. Filled in some of the lettering with a gold gel pen. Tore the page down to the size of the image, and with yesterday's WT in mind, I used a dark blue and a purple chalk pastel all round the edge, and used my finger to smudge it in. Added SN clear glitter all over. I was going to add it to a large card base, but I really like it, so I went for adding it to a plain white canvas board.

Couldn't be more perfect, Sabrina. I love birthdays, others and mine. I think I'll always feel like that, although the thought of being 70 in three years is daunting. he will absolutely love this and how lucky to have formed this relationship with him. he sounds delightful.
