This was done messing around for a card idea for my neighbor who must have a stack of shirts that look just like the printed paper and loves to go snowmobiling. (not sure yet if I will give this to him) He had a hip replaced a couple of days ago and I am awaiting hubs reaction, there is quite a bit of shades of grey on this although I only used black paint and white shimmer paint. ( the center snowflake ended up becoming more of a silver color when dry)
There are a few more shots that may show some of the texture or shimmer here on the blog. Thanks for this challenge Polly, & tfl.
ETA it passed the hubs test ( without me telling him it was for his friend first ;) so, it will go out in the mail monday)

I did look at the photos on your blog...very cool. Your snowflakes have a real icy look to them...and whatever you did with a gel pen it added some depth to the images. It all looks great on that big buffalo check paper and the tiny red greeting is perfect!

It's a great masculine card! Something like it would work well for the guy DH has visited in Maine the last two years. I really like the depth in your snowflake panel.
