I'm this week's Ways to Use It challenge. I want to see wood grain for my Go With the Grain challenge.
I stamped the image and sentiment in Smoky Gray, offset the panel a little and re-stamped in London Fog to create a shadow. Colored the image with colored pencils and used gamsol to blend the pencils. Dry embossed the panel and adhered to a gray mat and card base. I punched two layers of snowflakes for some extra texture. TFL and hope you'll play along.

Love the challenge and might have to get it done before I go to bed tonight, as I am leaving for a few days in the morning. Your pretty card reminds me of a friend I have who does handcarved Santas as one of the many fine skills he has always had with wood.

Genius, Carla! Your shadow work adds so much depth and I agree with Cathy that your awesome Santa image looks like he is painted on wood. Happy Thanksgiving, friend.
