Hello my Friends. Here we are at the final challenge for November...Can you believe it. Its Thanksgiving already. Chris chose some pretty colors for the end of the fall season this week. We have Lovely Lipstick, Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry and for dessert Pumpkin Pie.
To start...O M Goodness there were soooo many learning ops while making this card. 1st when you use alcohol markers to blend your background..you better move quicker than you do when you see a spider crawling up your arm because that stuff dries FAST. And it gets sticky too. YIKES. Before I used the Pretty peacock alcohol markers to blend the background..I stamped the starburst bg with versamark then used clear embossing powder to set them. After I blended the bg I started on my lady. The colors were a perfect blend to achieve a rich dress and hair color. I used the peacock blue on the baubles ( ornaments) as well. I have to share that Iâve been watching tutorials of Jenny McGuire a lot lately. She taught me how to extend or short my die cut frames. Thatâs what I did for my sentiment. Shes a Genius. Now I never have to worry about finding the right size die.
On that note I really hope you all enjoyed this months challenges...I know I did. Thank you design team for such an awesome month.
