Lisa's challenge was a good one for me to make a CAS sympathy card for my cousin. Her husband passed away on Monday when he crashed his plane into a cemetery. I saw it on the news and never would've thought I knew the pilot of the plane until I found out the next morning. I wanted to keep the card really CAS and have a soft sky on it, because he loved flying in his plane. I die cut the clouds and used them as masks to sponge a bright cloudy sky. Then I sparsely inked up my Music Sheet background stamp and stamped that over the entire sheet. I sponged around the edges with the Tumbled Glass and then applied a strip of paper with some black and white striped washi tape. Stamped the perfect sentiment and popped it up.

Just the saddest event. Your card couldn't be more perfect.

Oh Jen I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. Prayers to you and your family. Your card is a wonderful soft sympathy card and I am sure your cousin will appreciate the kindness in the card. Thank you so much for playing along.
