Also, inspired by Jen's card last week I tried brushing DOX onto my black card base, not with as delicate a hand as she used, but I'll definitely be doing this again. I spattered the background with gold Twinkling H2Os after brushing with the DOX, and stamped and embossed the sentiment. The front layer of Bethlehem is popped up on foam. I used a mixture of regular watercolours and Twinkling H2Os for colouring my image.

This would have to be one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. Sabrina, every inch of this is wonderful. I am away at the moment, but I can't wait to get home and try this fabulous technique.

This Christmas card is SO lovely, Sabrina. Not only the texture you achieved with this technique, but the dimensional layering to give even more depth. LOVE the color palette too.
