I stamped the butterflies and used a medicine syringe to splatter the water color paint. (Because of fear of contamination, this syringe will be dedicated to art from now on.) After the paint dried I used the stylus to emboss a frame. This is still mixed media, ink and water color paint. A lot of people think mixed media needs to be complicated, but it can be as simple as ink and paint or ink and markers. Most stampers are already doing mixed media and don't even realize it.
