I typically mass-produce two sympathy cards each year. This year... my heart breaks... there have been 3 deaths in one family (one in the spring and two this fall), so I needed to get creative. I decided to try the Joseph's Coat Technique, using a blending tool to apply my base colors and then using Ground Espresso (instead of black) for the top inking layer.

Thank you, Sabrina. I'm afraid we've had more funerals than weddings and baby showers lately. It would make a beautiful fabric, wouldn't it? The subtle embossing folder really added a nice dimension.
