I don't remember the name of this SU stamp set, but it's probably one of the first SU sets I ever bought. I think it speaks to my aesthetic even now. As I've said, I took Latin in high school and love to learn about ancient civilizations. Interesting that two of the mightiest ever, Greek and Roman, didn't last forever. But they certainly influenced our democracy, language and culture. Amo-I love; Amas-you love; amat-he, she, or it loves; amamus-we love; amatis-you (plural) love; amant-they love.
My old, old, old dictionary comes in handy again. Simply stamped most of the images right on the dictionary page (chose the page with the word 'ancient' on it), popped a few up and added one of my favorite funny sentiments.
