I know....who wants a farm card?!? Lol I just received these chickens yesterday and when I came into my craft room Selma (thats what I call her) was on my desk. I instantly thought...she would make a good farm grandma. So I put an apron on her and away we went.
This card was made haphazardly...backwards, upside down and inside out from the usual progression for making a card. I tried a new technique of burned balik on the piece behind Selma but Im not sure it turned out right. I almost burnt my paper trying to get it shine-less. I also chose to do the little things for the F4A challenge. I have a hobby farm so I enjoy getting out and enjoying the weather with the chickens. I hope you like it and thanks for visiting .

Your weathered piece looks great. Great choice of stamp for the technique. Personally I've sometimes accidentally overheated my embossing powder, but another way to remove the embossing is ironing between two sheets of copy paper, as described in the Colorwash Way TLC I linked, and in the Mluberry Batik tutorial. I usually scorch my card if I keep heating it too long, so I find this way better!
I really like the chicken food in the dish, what fun.
