Barbara is our colour hostess this week and she chose Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue and Berry Burst, dessert option is to use a silhouette on our card/project.
My silhouette image is from the Stampin Up stamp set - She's all that. I did not have any of the Stampin up colours so I used the closest to them. I created the background behind the image using copic markers. Dabbed stickles onto the background. I attempted to make a shadow image of the girl
I also wanted to honour Kari B - our newest featured stamper. Here is her card that inspired me Becca's wedding card
I used a silhouetted image, similar layout and I also used brads on my card.
I hope you will come and play along with us.
Hugs... Pat

Love this, Pat! Your birthday girl looks so festive in her party dress, and I adore how you created a shadow for her. The different backgrounds and stitching add so much interest to your card!

What a fun card. That silhouette is wonderful, as is your layout, Pat. Hugs.

The BG color patterns are great. When it comes to shadows, I find it best to consider the location the light source (front, behind, above, to one side, etc.) But it is still a great shadow. Superb card!

Oh, my, Pat, this is a beautiful card! The sewing, designer paper, silhouette, shadow of the silhouette, background design on the image, and the overall card design is fabulous! Love the card!
