Fun sketch today! It may be a little loose on the vertical and horizontal strips, but I think I got the idea of it. I felt like making a punny card today (don't I always) and when when I was browsing my stamps I got the idea of a platter of waffles and strips of bacon for this sketch. I cut out my waffles, colored them and placed them on my die cut platter. Then I put glossy accents all over the maple syrup to make them more appetizing. I die cut the bacon using a Spellbinders die that I just got this week. I sponged the bacon strips with Tea Dye and Aged Mahogany. Then I swiped Vintage photo on the edges. They're still not as crispy as i like my bacon, so I added a bit more brown using a marker. Found a sweet plaid scrap of DP for my tablecloth for one bit of the sketch and decided to just stamp some vertical stripes for the other bit. My card didn't feel quite finished, so I colored in that vertical stripe and then added a doodled border.

What a fantastic detail to put Glossy Accents over the maple syrup! Little things like that are what make me go crazy over a card! Love your doodled border, too.
