For Jen (Miss Boo) teapot tickle - Buzzing into a new year!.. that is a new School year, using bee and Apple related things.
I have a collection of napkins and thought this Bee napkin worked perfectly for the challenge. after peeling the napkins layers apart I decoupaged the one layer onto rust colored CS.
The napkin itself has a yellow background, and if you look closely you can see bits of yellow in the background giving the look of Apple skin (in my imagination for EPIC points! Lol)
Once the collage medium was dried I stamped a few images around the edges in versamark then heat set in copper embossing powder. The crown is stamped/ embossed in gold EP. The wings are outlined with Wink of Stella.
A friend gave me some mulberry paper and used that as a layer along with a dry embossed layer of gold glitter.
Overall, I think this Queen Bee sends a great message to inspire us to Bee Kind!
Thanks for the challenge Jen!

Wow Jeannie, this is one amazing card my friend! I adore this gorgeous bee image, but I am even more impressed with all the heat embossing you did on top of this wonderful napkin. That takes courage in my book and adds a lot of depth and dimension too! I love your final message about this bee-ing a message to Bee Kind! ~Karen.
