I wanted to play in MariLynn's Mixability Challenge to use leaves last week but never had time. I bought myself a 12Ã12" plate and found a good paper sale but hadn't printed with it yet. My yard and garden have some, shall we say, advanced weeds, cough cough. I pulled some to print with....double duty! Anyway I had printed in blue with a rhubarb leaf, but it was a very faint print. I brayered a couple of magentas and violet and laid my leaves down and pulled off the paint from around the leaves and then pulled up the leaves and printed onto my blue print. Since the edges didn't have much paint, I sponged some Sapphire around them. I used a pencil to shade around the leaves.
