Jeanne is challenging us with some bright colors this week: Pacific Point + Flirty Flamingo + Daffodil Delight with Embossing Folder for dessert. I've had this card "on the drawing to revise it with a few color adjustments...
The blue background is made by applying white craft ink (with a rubber brayer) to the Beads and Baubles embossing folder before running it through my Big shot with Pacific Point card stock. I always think of raindrops when I see this pattern. The daisies are stamped with Flirty Flamingo - I did a bunch of first and second generation images and ended up mixing them on the smaller daisies. I used these fun fuzzy flower centers for a little punch.
The reason I've had the other version sitting on the drawing board for a while is that I felt I needed that little daisy in the falling off the corner and for some reason couldn't quite get up the nerve to finish that way. Nothing like a deadline to make me actually add the glue. And, I'm glad I did!
I do hope you'll get a chance to try out this fun color combination with us this week!

Your design is beautiful Chris, the placement of the flowers looks wonderful. Using the white pigment ink with the embossing folder creates a nice subtle background design, I'm definitely filing that idea away for future use!

Texture and flowers, a winning combination for me. Great use of the colors.

I immediately noticed the partial daisy at the bottom and thought "what a great design element"! I also like the technique you used with the embossing folder. Those fuzzy centers in the flowers are very cool!
