TFL, This card is made to send to Stephanie, last weeks Teapot recipient, and since I made it Sunday I was able to tailor it to a few challenges. I did substitute Old Olive in the CC498. This card was fun to make. With just a small spritz of water onto the inked stamps it spreads the ink just a little onto the hot press watercolor paper. I had done that technique before and love this look. A few times I stamped off first and then spritzed. I sanded the Olive Kraft Kore paper for a distressed look. This was the first time I made a frame with these dies and it made the perfect size small frame, and so I included it in the You've been Framed WT challenge. I used the long thin stamp from Work of Art stamp set to add the C Curry and BBSugar on each side of the plant, most of the BBS was trimmed off, but just a little remained so I include it in the desc. I used a S U basic black marker to edge the watercolor paper for a tiny amount of dimension.
When I saw the lovely 'lavender' card in the French Bastille CAS gallery, I immediately thought of the devotion style uplifting book 'Lavender Hair' for cancer fighters. Since Stephanie loves to read, I included that reference in the message. Here is my version of an abstract lavender plant. I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day! Teresa

Beautiful, your lavender field is fantastic and your framing is beautifully done. I like the crisp white as a contrast to the soft lavender and what makes me think of a hay field. Brilliant use of those two SU sets.
