For the sketch and color challenge this week. This Santa stamp is the only Christmas stamp I have here at the lake, fortunately it worked beautifully with the sketch today. It is a lovely detailed image with lots of of cross hatched lines which makes shading easier. After I stamped it on white CS and colored it, I discovered that the only Cherry Cobbler DSP I have here has a vanilla base. So I cut down the image and mounted it on a strip of Very Vanilla CS on which I gold embossed a greeting. I found some gold brads in a large box of embellishments that I keep here as they are duplicates of things I have at the main house. I just happened to have a single scrap of gold foil paper that was large enough for the sketch.
