A rash of card orders from work colleagues this week, and a heavy workload not giving much time for crafting. For this one, I took a cling-wrap background from my background box and embossed it with Constellations ef. I matted it on black, and added the Lotus cut from black too. There was a scrap of cheesecloth on my desk in similar colours, so I tucked that under the lotus medallion. The toucan was cut from scraps. I added a little detailing to his tail with a gel pen, and tucked the sentiment tag into his beak. We got to see a toucan while we were on holidays, and what struck me was how blue his eyes were. So this one has a blue eye .

What a fabulous composition of color, texture and die cuts to make a sweet little scene. The toucan is adorable, especially with his blue eye. How cool that you had the opportunity to see a toucan. I love how you tucked the tag into his beak and added feather detail to his tail.
I'm in a similar predicament with non crafting time; my 2 oldest grandsons have been in my care for the past week (until this Sunday).
