The SCS challenges are such a great way to jump-start a project. They are especially helpful when I need a bit of art therapy but my mind is on life stuff. For this card, I drew inspiration from three great challenges.
JUL19VSNE - something sharp - yikes I think the crab's pinchers are very sharp. This came together lickety-split because I used previously made backgrounds. (so previously made that I can't remember how I created the crab paper. I am pretty sure I made it for a fall Project Bin card last year, so it's probably here in the gallery) The waves were created with acrylic paint and a credit card a long time ago.
FS648 - Lee Ann is our Featured Stamper this week. I wanted to CASE so many cards but I settled on this one.
MMTPT572 - The Teapot Challenge is a sketch challenge and I followed LeeAnn's card which was inspired by SC564.
This is also for the new IO summer die celebration and I have more details on my blog post!

I love using up old scrap backgrounds for die-cutting. Whatever your crab is, it's perfect. Brilliant use of the sketch - and I love Lee Ann's card, I can see why you picked it for your inspiration. Yours is full of summer fun and happiness.

There may be no crabs at the lake but this cheerful, sunny card is sure to bring a smile to Shelley anyway : ) I love the colors, the cute crab and that cool circle die with the waves inside!
