I recently searched Christmas decor trends for 2019 and a few websites showed natural trims and greenery in deep jewel colors. I decided to challenge myself with these ideas to make this Christmas card.
To make the wreath, I embossed a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock with the wreath embossing folder. I flipped the panel over and lightly traced around the edges of the embossed areas to use as a cutting guide. I cut away both the outer and inner parts of the wreath.
I then sponged white craft ink all over the leaves. After the ink dried, I colored with watercolor pencils. I then used a mostly dry aqua brush to smooth out the color. I placed the wreath back into the embossing folder to restore some of the deep impressions.
I coated the wreath with Versamark ink and heat embossed with clear EP.
