Oops! I missed the June Challenge Your Stash posting! The challenge was to use yellow and sunshine on our cards, so I drew a sunshiney sun in the corner of my digi. This card is for my brother, who turned 51 yesterday. I had to give old Gus a haircut, so it would look more like him. I couldn't decide what to make for him, but thanks to our Featured Stamper, janeenk and this card, I found a perfect sentiment. I did have to change quite a bit about this card to make it for my brother, but I think he'll like this sentiment. We all do keep getting more like our parents, but the older we get, the more we don't mind.

My parents didn't golf, so that won't be the case with me. I have finally outlived my Dad; he died at age 66 and almost 9 months, I'll be 67 in a month. Yes, I'm a lot like him, but I always have been. A lot like my Mom too. For some reason, I always think this guy is that snarky old lady on Hallmark Cards. What's her name????? Anyway, this is a ton 'o fun and I'm sure he'll love it.
