Polly is hosting this week's teaparty along with Melissa (txcrafter60). We are sending comforting thoughts to the Jones family after loosing their precious 12 year old grandson.
I am so disappointed with this photograph. It is a result of a grey and rainy day, metallic gold paint, the glare from the Twinkling H2O and of course my lack of photographic skills.
In real life, the shimmer is very subtle and there are many shades of green and aqua. I made this gel plate background last week for Polly's mixed media challenge, unfortunately the gold bubble wrap impressions didn't work out for the challenge, but it was too pretty not to keep.
The foliage is a die cut, using metal roofing tape adhered to cardstock, die cut then coloured with Copic markers. I applied a bit of glue from a glue stick, leaving a lot of the leaves unstuck.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in.

A gorgeous card, Susie, and thanks for the details. I may have to try that idea of the metal roofing tape. New idea for me, but love this metallic look for your diecut.

Miss Susie, I see nothing wrong with your card guessing beauty is in the eyes of onlookers as it is so very nice and settling---The die cut foliage put on the neat background is super neat-----gloomy here tooo as have rains since Sat and go thru next Tues and have inches for total so far and LOL soon not able to see my tom and peppers plants etc. as has been under water for 2 weeks now flooded areas everywhere
