I am sooooo late to this week's tea party, in Mothermark's words, I will have to enter via the back door!!
Loved Sandy's challenge to create a card using a non domestic animal. I love dolphins! I often get to enjoy watching them in the bay when we are at our holiday place.
I had already stamped the dolphins, coloured, added the glossy accents and done the sponging - pretty sure I used coloured pencils for the dolphins. Seeing as this was already diecut and matted onto the Pool Party c/s I just adhered to the embossed panel & dp. Had to add the die cut chair because who would not enjoy sitting back watching the dolphins play!
TFL!

Wow, wow, wow how fabulous is this! Your dolphins look like they are truely wet - incredible colouring Sue and a brilliant setting too. I could watch dolphins all day, we are very lucky hey. I loved your reference to Cindy.

I will join you and sit by the beach watching dolphins - such a special thing to see. You little pod look so life like with that glossy finish and the watery background.

Oh, I am so envious! They're occasionally seen off the Irish coast, and I once glimpsed one from the train as I was going to visit my aunt, but I've never seen them jumping and playing. The glossy finish really makes them pop - beautiful card. Hope you're well on the mend by now.

I would love to be in that chair and watch those dolphins....WOW. I agree with everyone, the glossy accents are perfect to illustrate the "wet" look of them. Fabulous card Sue!

What a striking card Sue! Your shiny dolphins look like they're jumping right off the card! That chair is the perfect touch! When we vacation in Maui, we get to see lots of spinner dolphins. They love to ride the wake behind the boat and jump out of the water and spin before diving back in. I had never heard of such dolphins until we went there. So cool!

Love dolphins, use to watch that show on tv that had them in it. The glossy accents really does make them look neat and wet---great background for them
