I confess to creative license with the sketch challenge today. All the elements are there...they just drifted!
Thank you Diane.
I used the Concord & 9th perfect cake. It was stamped on Arches Watercolor paper (embossed with Sea Foam White ep) and colored with Derwent Watercolor pencils. I am not any kind of watercolorer, but I am so happy with how this turned out.
For my second element, I chose a heart which was embossed with the Darice 'Musical Notes'. My #1 is an old Provocraft DP called Heart Notes. For the large sentiment I used an old Printworks 'Love' inked with VersaMark and embossed with PSX 'Vintage Plum'. Edged it with German Scrap 'Brown Metallic'.
What pure joy to create a wedding card for my 'little bro'! First time married at 60 plus 1 day (this Saturday) He was patient and waited on the Lord to bring the woman for him. Can you tell I am over the moon...smile!
Thanks so much for allowing me to slide into the SC gallery this week. Off to view the gallery.

I just love the way you "drift" (like Mae West who used to be Snow White, but she drifted.....). All the elements are there, and that cake is gorgeous, and the music, the heart, the edging..........fabulous, mf!!!

What an exciting event to be celebrating! And you have included wonderful colors and textures and patterns. Cake, and possibly chocolate the best, music, and a patient heart that has finally found the love of his life. Congratulations to your brother.

Wonderfully put together and the colors make it great for a guy. What a great testament to being patient and waiting for the Lord. I wish he would go out and speak to the world about this! Lovely card, Susan. Hugz

Gorgeous card! Love the white embossing, the torn music paper, the elegant edging, and the musical heart. Beautifully done. I am happy that the Sketch Challenge inspired you. Congratulations to your brother and his bride. What a fabulous testimony! Sounds like "love" is the perfect sentiment. TFS
