Angie is taking us to an interesting site for our Inspiration Challenge this week. IC697 {4/13/19} Music Emporium by ohmypaper! at Splitcoaststampers
I thought I could use a masculine card and that is what I set out to do.
I had such fun making my card. For the sky, I just swiped an ink pad on the cardstock, kind of lifting and swirling. I made the water with my mini ink pads just using one of the corners and moving it around like waves. Then, I went back to a regular size pad and swiped for the sand. I used Copics to dot in the sand.
The sailboat was colored with Copics and I stamped the birds.

LOVE this card!!! Thanks for describing in detail how you created it with ink pads. Amazing texture with this technique. My mind thinks of a beautiful warm summer day boating on Lake Michigan. TFS

Brenda, this is a remarkable card with your use of the direct-to-paper technique. I love the appearance of clouds in the blue sky and the waves of the gorgeous water! This is very creative and a great example of the effects one can achieve with the technique! Great card and I love it!

Your technique with tge ink pads for the sky, sea, and sand gives this card such a feel of motion. The birds really look like they are flying on a windy dsy. I love the bright, crisp colors.
