APR19VSNMINI3: For Lee's mini VSN challenge, we were to include an arrow. This gave me a push to use this image from Marquee Messages.
ABC11C3: I'm playing catch up on the Alphabet challenge. This is my entry for the letter C. My C is Christmas Pines, the stamp set I used for the sentiments. It is also a Christmas card and I'm calling those Christmas stars. That's my story!
WT731: A few weeks ago, there was a challenge to feature stars with bonus for gold. I think my gold sparkly stars meet that challenge.
I haven't been able to stamp as much lately so I'm playing a bit of catch up.
I stamped the Marquee Messages frame with the arrows first, then stamped the Season of Joy. For the sentiment in the frame, I had to alter it to fit. I inked the words with the black marker, stamped, cleaned, and then inked just joy with red. The full message didn't fit in the frame so this was my modification to make it fit.
Fussy cutting, a little bit of marker, and the focal image was done. I popped that part of up for some dimension and added the gold sparkly stickers to complete my card.
Thanks for the fun challenges everyone! And thanks for looking!

Catherine, so fun to see you in the gallery again. Love the background paper you used for this stamp set you used, which matches perfectly those stars on the sentiment panel and that you made it a Christmas card too! Love those gold glittery stars!

Oh Catherine, I love love your card...it is such a different Xmas card and I love it. It reminds me of a mixed media card and my type of thing. The arrow and images are perfect. TFS Happy day

My goodness Catherine, how creative of you to use this movie marquee in such an interesting way on a Christmas card. I love this and how you incorporated your sentiment here. The stars really add to the festive feel of this wonderful Christmas card. This is a fabulous card for all of the sentiments Catherine. ~Karen.
