CAS Your Birthday Flower - Each month I use this Flower of the Month stamp set to make some of my birthday cards for Chemo Angels. It is a little early for August, but that is my birthday month. It is hard to read the script but inside the square reads August Gladiolus. Fun challenge!
Featured Stamper honoring Sharon aka smadson.
I found a lot of inspiration in Sharonâs gallery. I selected this one as it gave me new ideas for this stamp set.
A blast to the past, recently I found a lot of Rose Romance cardstock in my inventory. Surprisingly, I have quite a few coloring mediums in this color: ink, watercolor pencils, marker, chalk and more. Spring is the time to use it up!
Like Sharon, I used a pink and green color combo, but not the exact colors. Sharon inspired me to make a background, so I used the Shaving Cream technique.
I changed the orientation and arrangement, although I did tilt one of my layers as Sharon did. I left off the ribbon and used three pearls at the bottom.
Congratulations Sharon! Thanks for sharing your cards with us and inspiring more. Enjoy your week!

That shaving cream technique is fun - love how your background turned out for your pretty August flowers! And I like how you changed your card to a vertical orientation and used pearl accents at the bottom. Makes me wish I had an August birthday and could hope you'd send this one to me!
