my virtual garden! However, can I say I'm really not READY for Spring to be here? Oh well, that's not quite right...I love to see the bulbs pushing up in my garden and see all the street trees budding. It's just my relaxing, lazy days of knitting and mugs of espresso and reading are soon going to be put away for the season and I have to wave a flag of surrender: I CAN'T do it all. I will be off to dig in the dirt and swing a leg over my bike. And still fall short of doing all I WANT to do!!! Anyone feel that way.
And so I approached these three wonderful challenges with MY little fairy girl...
WT:How Does Your Garden Grow I grow flowers.
F4A:'It's My FAVORITE!' As I suspect many will say Purple and Green.
MIX:Tulips, Daffodils, or Pansies I've got all those and more.
I used a vintage timekeeper paper to stamp the Stampers Anonymous fairy. And then paper pieced the hat and body. A snippet of vintage German scrap in silver connects the hat. The wings were embossed in clear ep and set free from the page. Notice that tiny BE YOURSELF.
The DP is a long retired Memory Box paper. I hoard those even more then my beloved Basic Grey's...smile. It seemed so Springy. A wooden button that says, Remember This. A tiny spray of metal floral trim. A few sequins.
The fancy heart was dry embossed directly into the papers. And the Hampton Art stamp with just a piece of the sentiment used. FOLLOW YOUR...
Thanks so much for stopping by. Your comments are like water to me in my crowded garden!!!

oops, I duplicated my comment somehow and now it has vanished. So glad to see you in the gallery today, Susan, and this delightful little spring fairy. It is a beautiful day here in Texas. Lynn was just here and we did some serious damage to our craft budgets visiting Tuesday Morning. It's been a great day!!

Love that image - I have it too and don't get it out often - love the debossed heart and pretty papers you used Susan as well as the sticking out bits! - I agree - I've been retired for 2 years now and still can't do everything I want in a day!

Your so funny! At the start of spring I’m excited to plant, but then comes the weeding.
Love the fairy, the sentiment (be yourself) fits you. Your cards are great with all the embellishments! You remind me of my daughter! Fabulous card!

I loved reading your post, cause I thought I was the only one that was sad to say goodbye to winter! Still, I have to say spring is not bad and I am getting into it. Your whimsical card is a treat to see! That background paper is cool and I love all the little touches you have done!

Beautiful paper. Yes, I have just a couple of sheets of Memory Box which I am very reluctant to cut into, but this is perfect for a transition from winter into spring. Your little girl (and the German scrap) are very Polly-esque, while being equally recognisable as you. The bingo card wings are fantastic.

What a wonderful and artful card, mf!! Favd. I love that the wings are "free", and that the saying is left to one's imagination. I'm with you........loath to give up inside pleasures, but still looking forward to Spring!

Cute little spring Fairy and pretty bg design paper. Your card is so artsy, and I love all your embellishments! It is hard to do everything we want to in a day. I think we all have that problem. I love spring though and really looking forward to being outside.

It's all about balance, right? And though your little fairy is tilted, and her expression looks a little unsure, we know she can choose to be grounded or take flight....possibly at the same time. Smooch!
