I did not enjoy this technique, but I'm glad that I tried it. I pretty much hate to use glue. I make a sticky mess with it. Also, this took me a long time and I got to work late. Probably I should have just made a couple of beads and used them as embellishments but I got it in my head that I wanted to make a foreground out of a bunch of green beads. I think what this card needs is something puffy towards the top of the card to balance out all the thickness at the bottom of the card. Maybe I can find some stickers or something to add. It's certainy not a lost cause, but you won't see me making paper beads again (I mean unless it's part of another challenge).

YOu are so funny! I agree, I think you need something more at the top. We are all sticky messes this morning!

Jen, I'm glad you took the time. I think they are absolutely beautiful, and what a creative way to use them. I was wondering about putting the strips onto double-sided adhesive rather than using a wet glue, but didn't actually get as far as trying it out. I think that so long as you left a little strip of backing still on at the end of the strip where you start rolling, it should work.

Jen, glad you tried this technique even though you didn't end up enjoying it! I does sound messy, but your card turned out so cool looking! Great card!
