I see that last year I made and sent four St. Patrick's Day cards, due to our unexpected snow days! Well, we did have snow on Sunday, but not enough to give us any time off work, so while I hope to get another card made today, this is all I have so far, and I've been working on it since Sunday.
I used the great Four Leaf Clover card tutorial.
Scalloped layers cut from green card. The plain layers were stamped with IO's gingham backgrounder in Lucky Clover DOX. I brought the stamp downstairs to clean and got complaints from DH when he picked it up and got green fingers. (Actually, he's really good at washing any craft supplies that end up by the kitchen sink , he does a far better job on my water jar than I bother with.)
Making things as easy as possible for myself I used a fussy-cut Unity rainbow image from the dish on my desk for one panel. For the side panels I cut Queen Anne's Lace from white card and coloured green where necessary, adding Stickles to the flower heads.
Stamped a sentiment and a clover patch on the one remaining heart, and coloured the clovers in with pencil. I think that's such a fun stamp - if you look, you can find one four-leaved clover for good luck. I laid the die over each plain heart and used it to draw a silver line around the inner edge.
Laced it all together and if I can get a letter to go with it written, it'll go postal today.

This is so sweet Sabrina! The green gingham bg and the green scalloped edging are perfect for a St Pat's Day card. Is that a new watermark? Don't think I've noticed the Snoopy at the computer before...could that be cuz you were having problems recently...the blue screen of death? lol

Wow! Talk about fantastic Sabrina. Seeing this awesome St. Patrick's Day card in the gallery really made my day today. I love the gingham (love it!) and the 4 panels how they are all working together for this card. The rainbow and queen anne's lace along with all the sparkle and shine make for a truly magical St. Pat's card. I am faving this for sure! Hugs! ~Karen. p.s I will gladly send you a few feet of snow if it will help- giggles! We have a lot of snow here.

I really thought this was done with fabric and rick rack. Actually, I might try that. You're the pot of gold at the end of my creative rainbow today Sabrina. My granddaughter's 5th birthday fall's on St. Patrick's Day and you have been quite inspiring with your Irish celebration card. I really like the look and even have that plaid stamp. Thanks for sharing the link to the tutorial.
