I had been playing around with enhancing my gel prints and had a small square print where I had used a sink mat that gives a very stone-like effect. I used colored pencils, pencil and Gelatos, some rubbed on some kind of dotted on to give more depth to the rocks. When I saw today's challenge to use foil, I decided that would add to the look too. I used a glue pen to add some areas of foil onto my rocks. I also had some bits of map from the insides of letters that I had fussy cut on a project yesterday. I had coffee stained an atlas page before cutting. I added some pencil rubbed along the edges too. I am really wanting to get back to more journaling both in my Bible and just as a remembrance of all that God is doing in my life day by day I love the line in the hymn, Come Though Fount of Many Blessings, which speaks of raising one's Ebenezer. In the old testament, many times, the Israelites as a nation or as individuals piled rocks of remembrance when God have done mighty things for them. Samuel named his rock Ebenezer saying, Thus far the LORD has helped us.
I cut some of my rocks, added the map rocks and glued onto a sheet where I had cleaned off my brayer between gel prints. I used a marker for my lettering

Those rocks are wonderful, you created so much depth. The foiling works nicely for highlights. Love how the verse curves up the rocks. Thank you for adding your lovely Bible journal page to my challenge, Gail.

I really like those rocks! Lovely colour, and the foil adds to them. It reminds me of finding stones with veins of fool's gold in them when we holidayed in the west.
