This is for our monthly Tickle a Teapotter challenge where we exchange cards with each other. Jan (Precious Kitty) is our hostess. We were to illustrate one of our favorite fairy tales from childhood. I found this coloring page on Google and used a portion of it for my card. My woodgrain embossed bg has been rubbed with vintage photo ink to make it look distresses. I framed the picture with some greenery and a polka dot mushroom. TFL!
I was considering adding some small googlie eyes to the wolf but when I tried it it looked kind of creepy...eck!

Love your choice of fairy tale, Polly, great image you found and you have coloured it so well! I love how you have framed it and depicted the woods with the leaves, mushroom and rustic embossed bg!

Love the background and the way you set the scene for Little Red Riding Hood in the design of your card. I'm chuckling at the look on her face and picturing the wolf with big googly eyes. Hehe!

Your Card is amazing, Polly! This was one of my favs growing up. Never liked the wolf as it always scared me but I continued to like the fairy tale! Your card is very well done depicting this take!

The distressed background is great - a real woodland setting, perfect for Red Riding Hood. Fab colouring of the image - but I think my favourite little detail is the toadstool. And the dots on the leaves - that's a brilliant idea for just giving them a little extra oomph.

Wow Pol what a great setting, I love how this feels like it's in a forest. Your colouring looks great and I love how you framed the scene. Good call on Wolfies eyeballs!
