I am a big fan of tin ceilings. I have several vintage pieces that I've bought from flea markets and artist's booths.
I used some embossed stickers that I bought last year at the dollar store, right before Valentines Day. They were already quite distressed but I added some verdigris ep so they would match the background. I thought they were pretty cool, even though they're plastic. Background is made with black Stazon swiped on the silver cs, then embossed, then rub Versamark on the raised parts and added ep in copper, silver and verdigris. Grungier the better. This will either go in my Valentine stash or maybe for an anniversary card. We like grungy in our family, not flowery.

Oh, I do like verdigris ep. I'm glad it didn't melt the plastic adding it to your stickers, they look gorgeous. So does that background layer. I was looking at tile images with DH over coffee; there are some beautiful ones out there. Do you display yours on a wall?

I knew you would come with something fabulous. All that grunge is GREAT and the different textures made by the embossing and those wonderful Dollar stickers add up to something very special. LOVE....

Such interesting metallics. You were quite clever in creating your tin ceiling. I like those hearts...I probably should add a $ store trip to my future.
