I went with a lemon/lime, greenish yellow...with a birthday in August...Period is a mixture of a greeny, yellow! And a tall, cool glass of lemonade (in any flavor) is perfect for the heat of summer!
Don't you love it when you find the perfect piece of patterned paper in your stash! hehe...Hope your day is sweet and fresh!

Terrific challenge! Love your card. I would say our birthstone of peridot is beautifully represented on this fun card. Love the paper. Wonderful citrus theme. TFS

Wonderful representation of the August birthstone, Dawn. Your card is beautiful with the yellow and lime. Like the design, too. We share the same birthstone.

YOU'RE AUGUST TOO!!!!! Happy half birthday to you. I never think of that, strangely, since I love my birthday. I celebrate the whole month because mine is on the first. Your card is so cute and yes, love the paper. And I love sour things, more than sweet, so just perfect.

I love your lemon card -- August b/stone is beautiful. I love the pennant you used as well.
