Hopefully you can see this week's sketch still even though I did a journal page instead of a card and did a 2 sided print instead of 2 separate papers. At any rate, that's where this started in my brain. I took a stencil and sprayed acrylic paint spray through my stencil onto the gel plate. I then flipped it over and pressed the paint onto the other side and I think I brayered some paint on this side too??? I tried to cut thisnso the stenciling and reverse stenciling would form the 2 halves, but I was off a bit. I used Gelatos, pencil and white gel pen to add detail and depth to my print. For my horizontal element in the sketch I took a paintbrush and brushed paints onto my Gelli plate and pulled a print on an already cut piece of cardstock. I added some pencil to this. I diecut my succulent pieces. I had a sheet of acetate and scribbled some marker and pressed down some ink pads, including white craft, and used a waterbrush with this to add detail on the succulents. I also sponged along the edges and also with some white. At some point I spattered them too. I curved the edges using my glue pen and a pencil and then glued them together.
