Cathy is this week's WTUI hostess. Her challenge was a great chance for me to try the Pleated Skirt Fold tutorial, which I think was a TLC back when I was visiting my dad regularly and had even less stamping time than now.
I used some old BG papers, including for stamping the flowers. Embossed and matted the main panel, then added the pleated bit. The flowers have Liquid Pearl centres.

I remember making a card using this technique and just loved the outcome. Pretty blooms, papers and embossed panel, Sabrina! I've always liked how the liquid pearls look~

I haven't done this fold in a long time...gorgeous card, Sabrina! I love the quilted look of the background with the pleated skirt and those beautiful flowers!

Your pleated skirt turned out so beautifully and looks amazing over your embossed bg piece. I love the flowers with their opalescent centers and the 3D leaf branch too. This gorgeous birthday card will truly make someone's day Sabrina. ~Karen.
