What a fantastic website Julie (justwritedesigns) selected for today's Inspiration Challenge. This is my inspiration piece.
As soon as I saw The Old Mill poster, I did not look any further as I knew this is the poster I would represent on my card. The poster is almost identical to a canvas I have hanging in my craft room. The picture is of the Glade Creek Grist Mill located at Babcock State Park, WV. This mill is very special to me as I went to the State Park regularly as a child, especially as a teenager. It is located a few miles from my childhood home. I have spent many hours sitting on the big rock at the mill. Just below the mill was a teen dance hall. My sister and I visited the hall as often as possible on the weekends. It was a good place to meet guys! LOL. The area is so beautiful during the fall and winter, and the poster flooded my mind with memories when I saw it. I love the mill!
Thank you for stopping by to view my card!

and Bev, I think your card shows the love you have in your heart for that special place. You've done beautiful work bringing it to us. I especially like the blazing colors of those leaves. A wonderful walk down memory lane in Autumn!

A lovely card inspired not only by the poster, but memories from your past. I really like how you added more autumn foliage to your scene...makes for a "fuller" view.
