I made this card for the letter D alphabet challenge. The D in my card is this fun daisy stamp that was a gift from a wonderful scs friend! First, I water colored a piece of watercolor paper using distress inks in mowed lawn and worn lipstick. It is rather hard to see in the photo, but the colors show up better in real life. I set this aside to dry, then stamped this daisy image onto white card stock and colored it with alcohol markers. I die cut the pennant from the water color piece once it was dry. Then stamped the daisy image directly onto the watercolor piece. There are some loopy swirls that I wanted to show up. Then fussy cut out the daisy that was colored with copic markers and I glued it right in place where I had stamped this daisy onto the watercolor paper. Added the heat embossed sentiment banner as a finishing touch. This card was also a thank you card for the person who gave me this wonderful stamp. I had a lot of fun making this card. Thanks for looking. ~Karen.

Spectacular job with this stamp. (which I do have and now want to case your card!).....Love the distress colors and your fussy cutting is perfection! What a neat looking pennant shape. You have such an eye for buying diecuts that are different from all the rest. The black sentiment piece is just the right touch on this lovely card!
