I made this card for the letter Y alphabet challenge. The y is for dragging the Christmas tree across their yard and for the youth who is helping to do this. There is a lot of glitter and shine on the image panel, but it sure is hard to pick that up with a camera. The colors of the dsp are richer than what show up in this photo too. Maybe it is time for a new camera. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Oh my goodness. This rocks for Y, Karen. And I had to smile reading how your Y was worked in here. All your details are fabulous. What a great card and stamped image! Love the touch of glitter on the trees and yard. The polka dot paper is something I would not have thought to use, and I just love it.

This is stunning and truly a masterpiece! I think your camera is working beautifully. I need one like yours that will maybe make my cards look as flawlessly gorgeous as yours! I love your coloring skills and how you used multi-colors for the clothes and the shading you created on the trees and the house is so very realistic. Absolutely beautiful. I think I could stare at this one for days...but then I get a chill with the snow!

What a gorgeous scene you have created here, Karen! It reminds me of a Currier & Ives card my parents received years ago. I can see the sparkle and know it is much more sparkly in real life. That sparkle is just so hard to capture with a camera. Beautifully colored and sparkled, and a lovely layout. Just gorgeous!
