I knew that I wanted to take some time during today's snowpacolypse to do some stamping. I looked over the week's challenges and for my resolve for the Ways to Use It Challenge I resolved to use items that hadn't been used yet. I perused today's inspiration site and found these cool Steampunk birdhouses for inspiration. I had the clock/vintage man stencil as well as a new clock die that I picked up yesterday. On my desk were some eco prints and I liked the coloring and wrinkling on my bg piece. I added some distressing along the edges. I strongly flicked a Bronze Sharpie to spatter then also ran it along some edges and over the raised wrinkles.I then sponged Early Espresso through the fun stencil. I diecut my clock in Bronze paper and adhered pieces of it. I found the cool brad and charms in my stash. The ticket stub went through the wash in a pocket and the paper piece was also on my desk. I already had the sentiment stamped and diecut and popped it up on dimensionals.

Super creating from your steampunk birdhouses. This looks like a great card for a guy.

Gail, this is FANTASTIC!! You really captured the steampunk vibe...the use of texture is outstanding. The touches of bronze are perfect, and I love that clock die. Into my faves!
