Lyn is this week's TLC hostess and she is inviting us to try our hands at Artist Trading Coins - the challenge is HERE.
I had time to play as DH and I both took today off work. Not planning on trading mine, so I made them up into a card. I used a piece of Serendipity background (check out TLC 470 for the tutorial) which I had made to cut some Bethlehem scenes from. Since there was gold stamping and embossing on them, I ran with gold for the matting and the sentiment. The polar bears are cut from watercolour paper and the ice floes from glitter card. I need to get some new gold gel pens, I had to run with a blue Stardust for the border and just add some gold sahdes on it.

so pretty Sabrina, I love the texture, the pretty icy colors and sparkling and the cute polar bears of course, I hope they'll have enough ice for years and years!!

Very pretty coins....love the bears! They make a beautiful Christmas card!
Think I will make a card with mine! I do not trade coins either!
First time I have seen them as a challenge!

Your backgrounds are gorgeous Sabrina! I love the way you incorporated your coins into a card. Every time I see that longer format I ask myself why I don't use it more. Beautiful card!
