The idea for this card was boiling in my mind for a little while. Finally got to put it on paper. I was inspired by the sketch from last week and thought this snowflake would be fun to use. Then I found these guys for the Inspiration Challenge: http://shop.christmasplace.com/LED-Acrylic-Snowman_2
I loved the colors and the sparkle. And, I thought it was the perfect way to use the technique from last week in the BG.
My strips and smaller snowflake came from a panel I made with the smooshing technique. My Dazzling Diamonds snowflake didn't cut very well, but I just went with it and left the tiny pieces intact. Pretty much the same with the watercolored one.
I contemplated putting the sentiment on the front, but I was too chicken b/c I had already assembled the whole card. So, it went on the inside. I stamped it in both colors and then embossed it.

Michelle, that's just beautiful. I do love purple for snowflake cards. And the contrast between the cling-wrap background and the coloured strips is really super: the wrap background has a sort of icy, frosty look.
